It is a forming method of injecting two different materials or two different colored materials of the same material into two-color moulds through injection moulding machines using two or more injection systems. Two-color injection moulding machine is different from ordinary injection moulding machine. In addition to two injection systems, it also needs a mechanism that can rotate the dynamic mould (turntable type) or the cavity part (rotating shaft type).
Dual-color die is usually divided into one set of two-color mold or two sets of two-color mold. The two-color die is fixed on the fixed plate of the two-color injection moulding machine, and the two-color dynamic die is installed on the rotary plate of the two-color injection moulding machine.
